Mohegan Sun has several types and paytables for Joker Poker. One is Kings or Better that pays either 15 or 17 for the 4 of a kind, some are the Atlantic City Joker, where the 5 of a kind pays 4000 and they have one that I found last night in the .25 pickem machines in the old poker room that has the following paytable: 1-2-5-7-8-20-050-050-100-1000 that returns 99.07%, pretty close to the Joker that you saw.

My SO received her new Sagamore Card. Wonder what's required to maintain this status? Action has been about $30K/day for 20 days this year. I'll speculate Sagamore requires $500K play/year.

I received my Sagamore card also. This time it was only good for 6 months and has an expiration of 3/31/06. I'm not sure why, all previous cards were good fro a year. 600K sounds like a reasonable estimate.

I just got a sagamore card for the first time and it also expires in 6 months. I checked last time and my play has been about 350,000 for the last 10 months and the only reason it was delayed (host told me this) was that since I hit two royals I was up for the year.

All of the $1 pickum in the old poker room are now full pay.

The $5 9/6 JoB are MIA again.
Sep, 2005
The $5 9/6 JoB listed on the database are still not MIA. I verified again yesterday. There are only 3 GameMakers in a row in high-limit Earth, the center one which is 9/6; and a long row of them in high-limit Sky, the second ones in from the left and right are 9/6.

I was there July 29-August 1 and couldn't not find a single $5 single line 9-6 Jacks or Better machine. All the $5 Gamemakers were 8-5, with no exceptions. Everything else is as stated within the site.

The $5 9/6 JoB are still there.

For those of you who persevered in boycotting MS, your strategy might have worked. All $5, $10, & $25 Pick 'Em is back to full-pay. MS might be the only place in North America that has this now in $25 denom for those who want to brave it and its 352,000 hand royal cycle. I did not see any $1 converted as yet though. They also have two $5 GameMakers with full-pay JOB; they are the second ones in from the left and the right in the bank of 7 in the high-limit area of the Sky casino. All bartops in Bow&Arrow and Hall of Lost Tribes still have $1 9/6 JOB. There are signs on many of the machines in the Sky high roller area stating that it takes $270 to earn $1 in comps.

While there is conflicting info as to exactly how the hosts computer determines who gets admitted into a lounge automatically, I was told that a $425 daily theo is the magic number. Whether this is averaged over your last 6 visits or 30 days or minimum/visit remains inconclusive. I did get to see my computer screen again. My nights play at the 9/6 $1 JOB at a Bow & Arrow bartop yielded a theo of 8.35% of my coin-in. I also noticed an exclusive nights play at a .25 PKM earlier in the year yielded a theo of an interestingly low 4.5% of my coin-in. Back when there was full-pay $1 PKM in the old poker room I indicated my theo was 6% of coin-in. Apparently, via host's conversation, the computer is classifying the bartops as penny machines even though they are multi-denom -- hence, the high theo classification.

The full pay .25 pickem in the old poker room are back as of 5/1.
