Note that there is no swipe required for Chairman, President and Platinum card holders to get the 3x points, but Preferred and Gold players must swipe at the kiosk or activate with the app every day.

Also points can now be redeemed for free play right at the machines without activating at the kiosk first.

New selection of hosts seems much less willing to give comps. Annual March Madness trip to Red Rock is cancelled. Historically the hosts are able to override "soldout" days two months in advance. This year they claim they can't. Reserving rooms for high rollers, while the VP grinders have supported them for years in the past. Get your room requests in earlier.

Effective December 19th, Station Casinos have tripled the coin-in needed to earn one point on the 100% payback machines. Used to be $4 to earn 3 points (.075%). Now it's $12 to earn 3 points (.025%). Also free play can no longer be downloaded and played on 100% machines.
