FP
"Full Pay". Term used to describe a pay table. Note that a FP game may not be the highest paying variant.
Full-coin
The number of coins that must be played to realize a particular games best paytable. Typically, casinos short-pay a video poker game when played less then Full-coin. For example, very often a Royal Flush pays 4000 units for a 5 coin, Full-coin wager, but only 800 units for a 4-coin wager. All vpfree2 pay tables are listed per coin, assuming that at least the Full-coin level is reached (5 coins in most instances).
Full-pay
Originally a term used to distinguish the first version of a particular game (to commonly appear), which was subsequently replaced by a similar game with a lower return. Today, the Full-pay designation refers to a particular pay table for a game and does not indicate if higher or lower returning variants are common. To avoid confusion, game return and pay table should be used to distinguish games.

Multi-Denomination
A slot or video poker machine that offers plays at more then one denomination. Most, but not all, video poker machines are multi-denomination and pay tables often depend on the denomination chosen.
Multi-Game
A slot or video poker machine that offers different games (and not just different pay tables for the same game).
Pay Table
List of hands and payouts for a game. Pay Tables are often given per unit bet, assuming a certain minimum (or maximum) number of units.
Progressive
A video poker game in which the payout for one or more hands increases until that hand is hit. When the hand is hit, the payout for the hand is reset to some predetermined value. The Progressive payout value grows in proportion the total amount wagered on the video poker machine or on a group of similar machines. Since the value of payout on a Progressive machine alters the pay table, the game return depends on the Progressive payout value. Optimal strategy also depends on the value of the Progressive payout.
Short pay
  1. A video poker machine with a less than full-pay pay table.
  2. A video poker game that has a reduced payout for a particular hand, as compared to a higher paying version game (a game with higher expected return)
