On 11/21/12 Kam Sang Co. acquired the casino building and Ravella Hotel from Village Hospitality LLC. Intrepid Gaming will continue to lease and operate the casino. News article here.

Casino MonteLago opened today 5/26/11 after being closed for 14 months. The casino has been remodeled by new operator Intrepid Gaming and will have only 275 machines. Best games before the casino closed were 8/5 BP and 9/7 DB. LVRJ news article here.

On the bank of machines near the escalator the uprights with the .25/.50/1.00 multi-denom had not only the .25 pick-em available but also the .50 denom available. However, this bank did not have the 1.00 pick-em available. I believe the other side of the bank had only .25 denom available. Next time I visit I'll double check everything again.

At Casino Monte Lago, the Aristocrat nickel Super Aces slant top machines have been removed, as have the Aristocrat nickel Double Acey Deucey slant top machines.

The bank of $ Pick'ems at Casino Montelago has been shorted in all denominations. The quarter bank of Pick 'ems in the next aisle was still at full pay.

Casino Montelago has Bonus Deluxe with sequential royals at the quarter level in most machines.

The sports bar (upstairs) has .25 10/7 DB and the 100.6 version of KBJW. All games above .25 are short. The downstairs bar has no 100% plus games. The number of bars where one can play 100%+ VP games and have good viewing for sports are few. Other than Casino MonteLago, Brendan's Pub at Orleans is the only one I know of that has larger than standard size TV and positive games.
