Gold Ranch has a new players club "Ranch Rewards" and E-Z ticket.... It just started in March. First 1500 to sign-up get a free "Ranch Rewards" T-shirt. $1 action = 1 point. 2000 points earned gets $5 free slot play ticket. That is equal to .25 % cash back (just put the ticket in the machine and hit the cash out button) , but....it's double points for March...equal to .50 % cashback....Tied to quarter FP Deuces, and FP Jokers...It should make a few folks happy. Comps (they have an RV park, but no rooms) are said to include gas, food, merchandise, lottery tickets. Gas may be as good as cash for many, or guess you could consider the lottery tickets as some form of additional cash bonus. As I understand it, you can redeem food comps at their Sierra Cafe (coffee shop), their Jack-in-the-Box (fast food) or the Sands Regency (Tony Roma's or their other eating establishments) in Reno. Sands Regency owns Gold Ranch. My guess.... free rooms, with some free casino money to play would arrive in the mail (from the Sands Regency) with any extended play.

Gold Ranch has the Sierra Cafe and ARCO gas station. I've been comped for both in the past. They don't have a card system ... it's like precard days. You ask the bartender, "how much play for a tank of gas, or a meal comp?" It's a judgement call from the bartender, but he rates your play. More, or less...depending upon how well he likes you, how busy they are, and factors only determined by him....But ... 2 people, playing 4 hrs has done the trick on past visits, Most afternoons they serve free appetizers on the gaming floor (from Sierra Cafe). This is a really small casino, no rooms....but I guess you could get a comp for their RV spaces (about 100 spaces), if you are traveling via RV.

Gold Ranch Casino (about 12 miles west of Reno on I-80, no hotel, no slot club, there is nothing to comp anyway, other than the adjacent Jack In The Box. Owned by the Sands Regency of Reno): Six 25c DB old, non-touch screen slant-tops, the two on the left are MG with full-pay everything, including DW and KBJW. Thought I should mention this as other than Silver Legacy and Reno Hilton, and a few machines at Smiths Supermarket, these are the only FPDW games in the area.
