I could not find any poker machines with denominations 1¢, 5¢, 10¢, 20¢. I was hoping to find a quarter BP machine but there are none. This casino also labels games as BP that have no four of a kind bonuses

I checked every bank at the GN Laughlin last week, and there are no more 8/5 Bonus machines, at any denomination. They should now be listed as MIA.

They shut down all the coin droppers on Wednesday September 10th.

All coin ploppers are gone -- that includes all DDJ at 100.35%. Some multigame machines have a game now labeled Double Double Aces & Faces (same game, I think it's a copyright thing)- these have a payout of 2000 for four aces with a kicker with a five coin bet, however the payout for a straight is 4 four for one. Best of these that I could find was a single machine with a 9-6-4 paytable (four for the straight). The rest have a 8-5-4 paytable.

visited golden nugget in laughlin today. 4 of the ddj are mia. i talked with slot techs and was told that all of the coin droppers in the casino will be taken out on tues sept.2 as of today 7 of the ddj machines are on the casino floor

9/28/13: The non-smoking room around the corner from the gift shop was roped off. They may be making it into a slot tourney room. Some other VP machines were also roped off near the main entrance.

OK, these have been on the floor for years but never made into the database- 2- $1 Bonus 8/5 slant-tops north of the stand-alone change booth. 2- .25 Bonus 8/5 skinny uprights south of the stand-alone change booth. There could be more Bonus 8/5. Now how about a bank of 12 Sigma Double Double Jackpot 8/6/5 south of live Keno. This is 99.27% (var 38). Eight are .50 and four are $1. First, Cheetah's bar is gone man...along with my bartenders. GNL now has matching Game Kings in all three bars (Reef, Sand, Tarzans). So sad, 7/5 Bonus is the best play. You might get a beer in Tarzans that you can't get on the floor, like SN Pale Ale. On the floor-Kill all Sigma DJ.

Four of the IGT slant-tops (red glass) have returned with 9/6 quarter Jacks. They are backing up the four remaining 8/5 Rapid Royals, right next to the stand alone change booth. That is it for quarter 9/6 Jacks. I will give 12 as the number of DDJ quarters left. They all hang out now in the same area south of Keno...maybe 12 of 28? Something completely new to add- There are four rows of Game Kings, all with matching markings, when walking in the front door. The foyer still is a trip with the waterfalls and real plants mixed in with the fake...pause and enjoy. Steve Wynn had something to do with this feature. Anyway, the first two rows have quarters as a base denomination...they suck. Rows three and four are nickel based. These 20+ GK have 12/8 (99.2%) Loose Deuces to play in nickels and dimes. Bounceback mailers resumed in September ... about 0.5% total. Landrys has plans to add more rooms and their brand restaurants.
