25 cent NSUD machines were removed some time ago. All of the 9-6 Jacks 25cent machines on the first floor have been changed to 8-6 jacks. Spoke to a member of management who said "It was a business decision. We weren't making any money on the 9-6 machines"

March 30, 2011. At that time there were only eight NSU machines upstairs in a circle - east end of casino..all other machines upstairs and down were downgraded. I was told Fortune Valley's new owners do not want video poker players- just slot players. Sorry to push this so hard but did not want anyone else to travel so far to be disappointed.

Fortune Valley has a bank of four $0.25 and four $1 multi-game machines with a sign posted "pay out the highest legal limit in Colorado". 2 best games in the machines are 99.96% DW and 99.96% DDB. There are also several machines such as Triple Pay and Multi Strike that have games with over 98% payout scattered throughout the casino.

Fortune Valley: Almost a video poker wasteland. Has a few $1 9/6 JOB. One 9/6 quarter JOB slant-top at the end of a bank of 8/5's. I've not found any NSUD on any machines here. They do have some nickle 8/6 JOB. Also have some multi-strike machines that are 9/5 (maybe 8/6, didn't write it down, one coin short, in any case) for dimes or quarters. Not the greatest pay table, but I'll admit these are fun - location and game details are unknown. They send out monthly coupons. We've played here a fair bit (maybe 2000 coin-in and about 15 hours in the poker room) in the last few months, and get a series of $5 coupons, one for each week or four days. Also hotel discounts for a free night mid-week each month and rooms for $30 or $40 midweek. My wife got a birthday card for $50 Friday night room and a gift. Surprisingly, it was a pretty nice pen. Cocktail service is OK. Irritatingly, you have to pay for Corona when playing slots. Only draft is comped. Coronas are comped in the poker room, but I guess they should be at the rate I lose money in there.
