Penn National Gaming, Inc. has completed the purchase of the operations of Greektown Casino Hotel from JACK Entertainment, LLC.

Tier credits based on 6 months of play
Now 5 card levels :bronze,silver,gold,platinum and infinity.
Tier multipliers on points/comps:
silver: 10%, gold: 20%, platinum: 30% and infinity: 40%.

Many of the card readers show $5 per point. Some machines show other amounts. Regardless of what the machine shows, it takes $20 to earn a true point and 150 points = $5 cash back or 0.167%. They don't make anything easy there. Lots of mailers but hard to figure out. On their gift give aways, you can now opt for $10 in freeplay instead of the gift. Take the freeplay.

Skip their drawings unless you want to use up a lot of time for a badly run promotion.

The bar on the 2nd floor across from the Cashier is no more...along with the progressive video poker $1 games it used to house. This is an enormous loss for vp players.

I've just started playing at Greektown at the bank of 9/6 jacks and NSUD going toward the eclipse. I asked about getting cash back and was told to use the machines to download the money to the machine and then I could cash it out myself. So I ran about 360 points on my card and went to another machine to download my cashback - the VP machines don't have that option... (supposed to be $5 for each 150 [email protected] per point) and found the slot machines show me having 94 POINTS!!

Anyone else had this experience? At that rate (25% of earned points) the cash back is only .125 rendering all the machines negative.

Anyone else have any experience with bounce back cash or other offers based on play of VP here? This seemed to be the best option in Michigan but at .125% cashback - there's nothing in the house worth more than 99.89% return...

As far as points, Greektown decided to make this fairly simple concept much more complicated than it needs to be. On the machine, you will see a count down of 20. This is 20 quarters or $5. You will register one 1 on the card reader display. It takes 4 of those to make one actual Greektown point. 150 of the actual Greektown points ( $3000 CI ) gets you $5 in cash back or 0.167%. It takes 600 card reader points ( also $3000 CI) to get you the same $5 in cashback and the same 0.167% cashback. Why they do it this way, I don't know. It might be related to how they award drawing tickets but to me, it just confuses people.

The machines that were on the wall in the poker room next to the pick'em room with 9/6 Jacks and NSU have been moved to the hall heading to the Eclipz Bar on the right side of the high limit room not far from the player's club.

MIA - $1 bartop progressives have been downgraded. NSUD is now 98.91% DW44 and 10/6 DDB is now 9/6/239 DDB.

All Pick'em have been downgraded from 99.95% to 96.69%
with paytable 10000 1200 600 90 75 50 20 15 10.

The $1 progressive bar on the second floor is no more. The fate of the $1 PROG is unknown.

GT has $1 multigame machines with SA (99.94%), RAB (99.58%) and 9/5/80 wha.

The 5 play jacks in the new machines are 9/6 at the dollar level and 9/5 at the $0.25 and $0.50 level.? The new 100 play pennies have 9/5 DDB and 9/5 JOB on them.? NSUD, PE and the $1 progressive remained intact. There is still one of the old .25 5 play 9/6 JoB machines against the back wall of the VP room.

A lot of new machines in VP room. The short wall with the 9/6JOB 5play machines have been replaced by new machines. Best play 9/6JOB single line in $1. .50 and .25 shorted to 9/5. I saw one 5 play with 9/6 moved to back wall. I didn't check all of them. NSUD all intact for now. The whole bank behind where 5 plays used to be are all new and not yet up. $1 progressive bar unchanges.
