From an IP Resort player: "Following up on my last update about the Insomnia bar, the 5 machines on the right side of the bar were replaced with new All-Star II Poker Machines. While they have a wide variety of games they do not have the $1, $2 98.91% 15/9 DW44."

The rate to redeem points at all food outlets at all Boyd properties is now 1000 points per dollar. Previously the rate was 600 points per dollar, a 40% discount.

Neither points nor free play can be redeemed on the six machines with 25c/50c/$1 9/6 JoB near the bar in the Cove.

The Insomnia Bar still has $1 and $2 8/5 BP progressives. (25c and 50c BP are 7/5.)
Feb, 2012
All of the 9/7 Double Bonus Aces and Faces games at IP have been downgraded to 9/6.

The multilines in hi limit and near the Cove earn at $25/point.

The TDB is short pay, 40 for quad 5-K. Despite paying 100 for SF, its a 98.63% game.

$1/$2 8/5 BP PROG bartops are there. No 9/6 JoB found in hi limit. There are (2) $5 9/7 TDB 3/5-play, but no 18/7 KBJW.

The 50c/$1 9/6 JoB machines are *not* MIA. They are in a whole new wing on the 2nd floor past the buffet that I didn't realize even existed. It's what the current database refers to as the "new casino" on the 2nd floor; it's actually a new wing on the 2nd floor down a short hallway past the buffet. There are also machines before the buffet, which I thought were all that existed on the 2nd floor.

Here's what I found:

(8) 50c/$1 uprights (the 8 rightmost out of a bank of 11) against the wall between The Cove and the cashier.

(4) 50c/$1 uprights between The Cove and the cashier just away from the wall.

(6) 50c/$1 bartops (actually just countertops, subce they're away from the bar) in The Cove

(6) 50c/$1 uprights in The Cove

(10) $1 uprights between the High Lights sports lounge and the Twenty-One box office.

The above banks all also have 8/5 BP, 9/7 DAF, 9/6 DDB, and 15/9 DW44.

The Cove does indeed have the bank of (13) $1/$2 BP PROG as posted.

There is also another separate bank of (15) $1/$2 BP PROG bartops on the first floor at the Insomnia bar, which is directly across from tge escalators to the second floor.

VP is either $25/pt or $20/pt. I've checked both prog and non-prog banks. Freeplay is 20 pts per $1, so rate is 0.20% or 0.25%, respectively. Details below.

The bank of (10) uprights with $1 VP near High Lights is $20/pt.

There are (2) 50c/$1 3/5/10-play 15/9 DW44 and 9/6 DDB uprights between The Cove and the cashier on second floor. Unknown rate.

There is a bank of (10) uprights with $1 BP/DDB/DW44 in front of the buffet.

If you don't want to list all the 9/6 DDB and 15/9 DW44 individually as I have submitted, it would suffice to say that 25c/50c/$1 are "scattered around the casino".

It appears that the $1/$2 BP PROGs at the Insomnia and The Cove bars are on separate meters.

The Torch bar has (19) 8/5 BP, DDB/DW44 bartops, non-prog.

Hi limit has: (6) $2/$5/$10 15/9 DW44 and (6) $5/$10 9/6 DDB slant tops. Also (2) slant tops with $1/$2/$5 3-play, $5 5-play, and $2 10-play 15/9 DW44 and 9/6 DDB. and (2) $5/$10/$25 15/9 DW44 and (2) $5/$10/$25/$100 9/6 DDB slant tops. These earn @ $20/pt. Didn't check multilines tho.

There are more $1/$2/$5/$10 DW44 and DDB just outside of hi limit that earn at $20/pt.

So my best guess is that all machines earn at $20/pt, except the BP PROGs at Insomnia and all machines in or near The Cove, which earn @ $25/pt.

*** MIA - *** (4) 50c/$1 MG/MD NSUD near ticket redemption center on the third floor. (6) 25c MGMD 9/6 JoB on the second floor in the new casino.

All the NSUD are MIA downgraded to 75-45. I think all .25 JOB down graded to 9/5. Some were still being worked on when I left. There are a few .50 JOB left but all I could check on 16 machines in center of new part of second floor casino had been downgraded. Ones left were in bar area of new part. The $1 JOB are still there. I am pretty sure free play has been reduced from .277 to .25. Now $20 per point. It looks like comp accounts have been drastically reduced. Used to get close to double free play now looks like I am getting less than 1/2 free play. The clerk at players booth seemed to be totally in the dark as to what was happening with comp dollars.

*** MIA - *** (3) $1/$5 MG/MD 9/6 JoB near high-limit area on first floor.

March inventory for the IP Casino remains the same that I reported In Feb. The later report by an unknown individual is incorrect so please remove all comments of VP that is below 99%. It should read 3 MD $1.00 and $5.00 J/B 99.54% located on the first floor near the high limit area.On the third floor there are 2 MG .50 and $1.00 deuces wild(NSUD) 99.7 located within three feet of the Redemption Center. The casino had a major computer failure for several days last week and two of the reported machines are not operating but should be on line in a short time. There still remains the 2 reported above.
