The Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino has been sold by Snow Covered Capital to Don Ahern. He has stated that he will change the name and reopen it as a non-gaming hotel with conference and convention space in the casino area.

The Lucky Dragon Hotel and Casino, which remains closed, is now the property of the main creditor Snow Covered Capital LLC.

The Lucky Dragon Casino closed Thursday January 4th.

The Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas opened Saturday November 19, 2016. A grand opening celebration is still planned for December 3, 2016.
