The only 100% payback video poker machines at the Palms Casino have been removed.

From a Palms Casino player: "I noticed that the newer Game King Units that have Atomic Fever, Dice Fever, and Royal Deal have downgraded paytables for 25 cents and 50 cents denominations like 7/5 or 30/8/5 98.48% BP, 9/5 DDB, 9/6/5 DB, 20/12/10 DW44." Note that Atomic Fever adds about .47% to the base game per WizardofOdds.com.

From a Palms Casino player: "The four slant-tops with 9/6 Job are MIA."

From a Palms Casino player: " The 4 slant-tops which have 9/6 Jacks or Better are now only in denominations of $.25/$.50/$1. $2 denomination and up have been removed. Point earning has not changed ($4 coin in/pt)."

From a Palms player: "They are not giving any points on the 100 percent payback machines."

The new rules for the Palms Casino players club (Club Serrano) are now on their website. Video poker will be $4 coin-in per point. 500 points can be redeemed for $1 free play (0.05%). Cards can be used at both the Palms Casino and the Yaamava' Casino.

The Palms Casino Resort was reopened this evening April 27, 2022 by the new owner San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. The previous owner was Red Rock Resorts (Station Casinos).

From a Palms visitor: I went there today to see what changes have been made especially to the video poker. In summary...the video poker is almost exactly the same as it was when Stations was the owner. So this is still true: 25¢, 50¢, $1, $2, $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 : 99.17% BP, 99.11% DB, 98.98% DDB, 98.91% DW44 many banks throughout (some are single-line, some are multi-line)

There are only a few machines with games better than 8/5 BP (99.17%): three 100% payback machines and four machines with $1, $2, $5, $10 9/6 JoB (99.54%).

There was a long line to get a players card at the players club but you can also get one at the cashier in the high limit room which had no line when I was there this afternoon.

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians has now taken ownership of the Palms Casino Resort from Red Rock Resorts. They plan to reopen in the spring of 2022.

The Palms, Texas Station, Fiesta Rancho and Fiesta Henderson are remaining closed until further notice.

Video poker at Stations Casinos is now $2 coin-in per point except that the over-100% payback games do not earn any points. Redemption rate is still 1000 points = $1 free play, cash or comps.

Giorgi "George" Argirovski, previously a host at Green Valley Ranch, is now at the Palms Casino Resort.

The casino expansion on the west side of the Palms Casino is now open. There is a bar open there now and a Dim Sum restaurant coming soon. And gift giveaways are now in that area.

I did not see any paytables in the west casino better than 8/5 BP (99.17%) other than one bank of six slant-tops with 100% payback games.

This casino has so many single-line and multiline 8/5 BP and 9/7 DB in 25c and higher throughout the casino that each bank probably doesn't need to be listed separately in vpFREE2.

Casino host John Krauskopf has retired.
