Santa Ysabel is a small casino, it only has one bar (center bar) as you enter the casino (only 1 entrance).

The 2 good machines at the bar (of 3) are adjacent to the cash register. They have 3 play, 5 play, 10 play, Spin Poker, etc-- but only are FP starting at 10-play.

I have looked around and saw a lot of quarter VP but the pay are not even decent.

The promo club is quite generous given that I seldom go there (maybe once in 2 months)Yet now, they are offering me $50.00 moreplay every week, but you cannot use more play on VP machines. Also, their restaurant has a good menu at great prices, plus a gorgeous view if you sit by the large window

There are lots of All-Star machines but only 4 of them have the 10/6/40 DDB paytable and only at the 10-play 10c level: 2 of them are close to the slot club and the other two are at the center bar. On these same 4 machines, the NSUD game is only available when you select the 50c triple-play menu.

I was at Santa Ysabel Casino a couple of weeks ago and did not find their best games as reported in the VPFree database. I was looking for the 10 cents 10-Plays: 10/6/50/40 DDB and NSUD. I found 4 All-Star - location unknown: two near the slot club and two along a wall between the slot club and the restaurant. The one I checked was against the wall and I'm almost positive it did not have the above games.

The database has it listed that this casino is only 15 minutes east of Rincon. This is simply not true.The ride is all uphill towards the mountain town of Julian. I would list it as 30-40 minimum. If drivers are not used to mountain driving they need to watch out. It is very fast on the way down with many sharp turns. Its just information for older people since I send them there and they curse me out when they return (from Rincon). They have changed their hours of operations. They are open from 6:30am to 11:59pm M-Thurs. Fri 6:30am-SUN closing at 11:59pm. They are also offering a 10.00$ freeplay for new sign ups. They also have an EXCELLENT restaurant called Orchards overlooking Lake Henshaw. Great food, service, portions.

The single line MG MD - location unknown were from 5c to $1 and again only the $1 games were full pay, which included JOB, Bonus Poker, NSUD, and Bonus Dueces. Slot club is 1 pt per $8 vp and points are worth 2c, so that is .25% cash, they told us NO Comps. The place is pretty small, maybe a total of 300 to 500 - location unknown and about 15 tables, plus a poker room.
