Hotel has two towers – Bourbon and Orleans. Bourbon Tower is closer to the Boardwalk and offers good views of ocean and boardwalk. Rooms have recently been completely remodeled including flat screen TVs and new beds and linens. Orleans Tower is connected to the casino but in the back closer to Pacific Avenue and has two parts – an older and newer part. Newer part (towards Pacific Avenue) has nice rooms that are slightly larger than Bourbon Tower and offer good views of the ocean on the north side. Property has approximately fifty suites which is low based on the total number of rooms thus suites are hard to get especially on weekends and require that you be a high-roller. Seven Stars in itself does not qualify for a suite at Showboat. (Warning: Some of the House of Blues suites do not have windows; so if you want to look at the ocean, avoid these.) French Quarter Buffet consistently ranks as one of the better buffets in Atlantic City.
