Plenty of 9/6 job machines. Friendly staff including attractive cocktail waitresses at pool. Awesome steakhouse as well as casual eatery which was excellent. Good music at lounge. While comps on 9/6 machines are low can offset due to attractive overnight stay packages as well as a co branded credit card where points can be used for food or room comps. Use the card once and get about $100 in comps as an intro. Not a place for day trippers who go by bus but the offset is other customers you can have friendly conversations as well as attractions other then gambling. agecfp

Played several hours at the Palms on a 25 cent 3-play 9/6 JoB. It was my first visit, and I easily and quickly gained enough points for a free buffet, which was as good as most. The machines I played on were in good repair--all the lights worked, no buttons stuck--and was comfortable. There is an abundance of good machines, though I didn't try any of the 100%+ machines, which don't earn as many points and aren't eligible for promotions (though I'm not sure what the implications are). I really enjoyed the Palms and highly recommend it to video poker players. wesroot
Computers were down when I arrived, so check in was delayed and I couldn't check my B-connected points. I assume this is rare. The room was as good as most and better than some. I slept well there, which is saying something. I played mostly dollar 9/6 progressive JoB at the bar near the sports book. Most of the machines were silent, but I found one at the back side of the bar that signaled winning hands. Machine was comfortable, staff was friendly and I had a good (and successful) time. wesroot
