First let me say I'm amazed that the only other review is not good, but it's totally based on the person's luck playing VP. Are you kidding me? Why would any review be based on a little bad luck I ask. So let's have some straight talk. They offer the best VP in Las Vegas. Choose from Full pay (over 100% return) or the other great games at up to 99.8% How can that be bad? The food choices are excellent. T Bones is great for a upscale dinner, and we love the Yard House for all their food choices, even though we have just barely sampled from the HUGE menu. And you thought they only had a HUGE Beer offering. We especially love going at happy hour and fill ourselves up of the appetizers at the great happy hour prices. The buffet is OK, but hey it's a buffet and it's cheap. We normally only go there for breakfast and have our eggs made to order, and then sample some of the many other choices of meats, potatoes, etc. I think the change to the players club in the past year is a much better deal then the older one. And then they throw in an occasional multi-point day every now and then. At least one day per month is offered at the kiosk And we love the rooms too. So if you haven't stayed here.......you should plan to soon. DK in Florida dickinfl
I think the club is generous. If you are $1-5 9\6 player this might be the place. Place was slow compared to the other places I was that night, the crowd was much older. rldjnyc
No smoking is a joy. The place is beautiful, the machines are still fresh looking. That said hard players club. After 1300 of coin in, I had ZERO to sho for it. New player offer for a room and buffet was for 10K of coin in. rldjnyc
I go every week. Limit myself to 99.17% BP or 98% BP Progressive. Still a longterm losing proposition, but my money lasts and the comps are good. Lots of machines and games to chose from, but the BP and Pickem are the only ones paying over 99% at 25cent to $1 level. Tony1127
First $1 VP Machine I sat down at....dealt four to a royal of diamonds and drew the lacking king! NICE! $1 progressive on JoB. Not so kind, on the second floor. Same with .25's Dont like the smoking rules, even the canadians realize they have to provide some better way to let patrons smoke. Right now, you have to go outside on the street and smoke. Canadians at least provide a heated veranda or terrace for that. Didnt hit much after the royal, but that was enough to wet my appetite to return! Hotel Horseshoe uses is the Ritz. Did not stay , but will the next time! chrisottsr
