3 Stars Overall Video Poker
The video poker offering seems to be one of the poorest in the mid-West. There's 8/6 JoB at 98.39% which is generally unplayable but there seems to be no 99+ machines at all, whereas such machines can be found at other casinos in the region. The lack of any competition seems to be a factor and there seems to be little to convince the operators that a better gamble is needed. There's a good selection of games on IGT multi-game machines including Joker Poker with kings or better and trips or better pay scales but all with sub=par pay tables. There are Deuces Wild, or Bonus Deuces, but both has sub-98% pay tables.\ There are also multi-hand machines, but with 6/5 JoB pay tables, the gamble is exceedingly poor, even if they are nickle machines. And with the decreased benefits from Total Rewards, one might as well stick to some of the two-coin traditional slots such as the Double Diamond machines on the second floor with the 80-unit third coin payout for the scatter-pay on the Double Diamond emblems. There's little impetus to play the third coin and the credit rate with Total Rewards is double that for video poker. So all of you that have heard that video poker is the best gamble in any casino, take warning. That is not always the case, and is likely not to be the case when your apt to be playing a machine with a sub-96% pay table. Reprobate

I've been to Vegas 4 times and always heard to go to Red Rock as they had the best VP. So this last time I spent the $50 cab ride to go. They have near about any kind of VP you want to play with large progressives for those rare hands like dealt RF and sequential RF's. But I got stomped. Signed up for a players card had a chance to win up to $500 in free play. Put the card in and what did I get............. $3 rofl. Blew about $2,800 playing single line DDB in 4 hours. Only got two quads dealt 8's and then 8's again on the same machine. I won't be going back. spxChrome

Stayed 5 days about 40 hours of play $1+ only 2 HP AWAK once and 44424 on TDB triple play. And almost didn't get paid on the AWAK because they said the machine was not connected to the network on did not register the HP??? Impossible to find anything under $1, paytables were most 8/5 even in HL. It took 1500 to 2000 everyday before hitting a quad or two. Most casino I visit I at least see other people getting handpays but this place was dry as a bone. I only saw 3 other hand pays the entire time I was there and 1 was in HL. I usually see that many in a 1 day session at most other casinos. The backside "Clepopatra" played a little bit better. Don't play the front entrace go around the back past the Sports Book. There the quads at least came on average pace. spxChrome

4 Stars Overall Video Poker
Think back two years ago and say that you had this favorite uncle who asks you what you would like for Christmas and since he already knows full well that you are a gambler, he already has the most fun casino ready to roll out with you in mind - even before you answered. That man is Mr. Dennis Gomes and his gift for us, is the new Resorts Casino in Atlantic City. Thanks to his friend, Uncle Bailey, they bought a classic junker for not much more than a song and turned her into the Casino of the Year 2011. He starts by polishing clean the Art Deco gaming floor. He then hands us the out-sized bus package which is a generous $41 in slot play plus a voucher for a free buffet that opens all seven days serving unlimited crab legs. He provides us with the hottest cocktail waitresses and dressed them in the scandalous fashion of roaring Twenties. And along with the easy money, the easy boozing, and the Naked Circus; he offers us a couple full-pay JOBs, and many more full-pay Bonus Pokers on IGT Game King 25 cent coin machines. Yes, he did it all for us in a time when Uncle Trump left behind only his name on the wall and when Uncle Wynn has long since left town vowing never to return. Gomes saves these full-pay video poker games in a world where 8-5 becomes the new standard payout on 25 cents JOB. For all you've done - thanks for the fun filled year, Uncle Gomes. And oh how I miss that smoking hot hostess on Beat the Chick tic-tac-toe game... sugardaddy1
